The DROTTNINGHOLM COLLECTION, based on the exhibition maxjenny! - The Queen of Prints at Drottningholm Slottsteater.
Drottningholms Slottsteater is over 250 years old and has a unique collection of decor and interiors from the 1700s. It is this imagery on which Maxjenny has based her collection, which will comprise many unique prints and creations.
THE PRINT:
On a rococo cloud hovers Minerva, patroness of learning and the liberal arts. Above her is a billowing pink silk sky draped, bringing to mind political arenas, power and decision-making. The gold crown behind Minerva and the garlands of flowers, which together form an L and a U, show that we are dealing with a queen: Lovisa Ulrika. With spear and helmet, she is ready to fight for wits.
THE DESIGN:
The coat is straight in shape, an O-lined neck, long sleeves invisible pockets in the side seams and a short zipper at front which makes this coat looking fantastic both open and closed.
