The DROTTNINGHOLM COLLECTION, based on the exhibition maxjenny! - The Queen of Prints at Drottningholm Slottsteater.
Drottningholms Slottsteater is over 250 years old and has a unique collection of decor and interiors from the 1700s. It is this imagery on which Maxjenny has based her collection, which will comprise many unique prints and creations.
THE PRINT:
Three crown colour.
On a rococo cloud hovers Minerva, patroness of learning and the liberal arts. Above her is a billowing pink silk sky draped, bringing to mind political arenas, power and decision-making. The gold crown behind Minerva and the garlands of flowers, which together form an L and a U, show that we are dealing with a queen: Lovisa Ulrika. With spear and helmet, she is ready to fight for wits.
THE DESIGN:
The Long Skirt is elegant yet fresh and just lovely. The skirt is made in our lovely silky woven viscose with two folds at front, and is equipped with soft white lining for comfort, an invisible zipper at back and neat invisible pockets at the side seams.
